Sourcing & when fees change
- · Figures are the published Tanzania government park tariffs and private conservancy levies held in our reservations system, quoted per person per 24 hours in USD.
- · Tariffs are reviewed annually, usually announced before the July high season, and conservancies can add peak-season levies.
- · Quotes hold for 14 days. If an authority publishes a new tariff before you pay, we re-quote at cost with no mark-up.

Luxury Tanzania safari questions
How much does a luxury safari in Tanzania cost?
As a planning guide we price luxury camps from about USD 800 per person per night and ultra-luxury villas from about USD 1,280, both full board with game drives and park fees. A typical seven-night Serengeti and Ngorongoro journey at luxury level therefore lands around USD 5,600 per person before international flights.
When is the best time for a luxury Tanzania safari?
June to October is the classic dry season with river crossings in the northern Serengeti from roughly July to October. January to March brings the calving season on the southern Serengeti plains and excellent predator action, with lower rates and fewer vehicles.
How many days do I need in Tanzania?
Seven to ten days is the sweet spot: two nights Tarangire or Lake Manyara, three nights Serengeti, one to two nights Ngorongoro Crater rim, then an optional three-night Zanzibar beach finish.
Are park fees and internal flights included?
Our quotes include park and conservation fees, full-board accommodation, game drives in a private 4x4, and transfers. Light-aircraft hops between the Serengeti and Arusha or Zanzibar are quoted as a clearly listed line item so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Can you combine a Tanzania safari with Zanzibar?
Yes. A short flight links the Serengeti to Zanzibar, so most guests end the safari with three or four nights on the coast. We book both legs on one itinerary with a single point of contact.
